Timber Talks

Did you know that certain timbers are so strong they’ve been used to build bridges, ships, and railway tracks? Join us as we learn what makes wood strong and flexible and why each type of timber is unique. Learn how trees turn into timber, and explore its amazing uses from ancient tools to modern skyscrapers!

This session is conceptualised by the BDL Museum in collaboration with STEAM Academy, founded by Dr. A.P. Jayaraman. The talk will be delivered by Shubhangi Rajput with an introduction by the Museum's education team.
